OK, I’m sure some WP pros here will think this is a dumb question, and I’ll probably get some flak, but I have actually read plenty of documentation, and I just don’t think I’m even going in the right direction, anymore. I am somewhat experienced with PHP, but i have little experience with wordpress. My […]
I get the latest posts this way: $args = array( ‘numberposts’ => ‘2’ ); $recent_posts = wp_get_recent_posts( $args ); Then I loop through them and get information about the post this way: $recent_posts[“post_title”] How can I get the date the post was published?
After this question: https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/a/93902/27148 There is an answer that suggests deleting past edits directly from database, which would be nice, because I could create queries to delete specific edits only. But, Is this safe? Why?

The problem is that it only displays 5 projects on the page. I am sending a code which display posts: $projects = get_posts(array(‘post_type’ => ‘projects’)); One guy […]
I stack since a few hours now and I’m sure that this is not so complicated. I would like to get all custom post types into this $posts = query_posts( $query_string.’post_type=POST-TYPE1,POST-TYPE2,POST-TYPE3&post_status=publish&posts_per_page=-1&’ ); I know that there is this function: $post_types=get_post_types(”,’names’); And I have some Post Types which I want to exclude. E.g. “Portfolio”. So how […]
I have created two custom post types, each with it’s own slug. Each custom post type contains some articles with the same title. So ideally I would have . . customposttype1/mainarticle/ customposttype2/mainarticle/ Instead I get . . . customposttype1/mainarticle/ customposttype2/mainarticle2/ <– with the extra 2 on the end The permalinks are set to “postname”. Any […]
My boss has a wordpress site and he wants me to give him the ability to add videos from a site called vzaar. I see the form, I see the main PHP file for editing posts. Unfortunately I can’t track the form down to the backend file. How can I know which file I want […]
